Simple Recipe: All-Natural Vegan Ice Cream

I've always enjoyed making smoothies - it's always so fun to create your own recipes, or just throw in whatever fruits, vegetables, and anything else you like. Recently, I was wandering through my kitchen looking for fruits and vegetables to put in my smoothie. I didn't have any smoothie-worthy vegetables, and the only fruit I had was sliced bananas that I left in the freezer.

I decided, why not make a healthy milkshake? I gathered up the frozen slices of banana, some peanut butter, coconut milk, and finally almond milk! Four ingredients - that was all.

I tossed each ingredient into the blender, and the result was a really cold, thick milkshake, which in truth resembled ice cream! I didn't expect to have a delicious bowl of ice cream from just four ingredients, but it was still very good!

Who knew that such simplicity could taste so good? This ice cream is also vegan, as there is no dairy in it!

Recipe:
1-2 frozen bananas, sliced (make sure they're ripe bananas, then place in freezer)
2-3 tablespoons of natural peanut butter (or regular peanut butter if you prefer)
About 3/4 cup of almond milk (I just pour in enough milk to get an ice cream-like consistency)
A few splashes of coconut milk (for a coconut-like flavor)
Blend away, and enjoy your vegan ice cream!
