Just a Little Update on Life + My Summer 2015 Bucket List

Alright. I think we have all noticed that I am a very very inconsistent blogger. It seems like I frequently disappear from writing on the blog which results in many hiatuses. Today I was looking back at all my past posts that I have written, and I must say that it was quite entertaining for me to read each and every one of them. I can recall the thoughts or feelings I had at the time I wrote each post, and I remember the enthusiasm I had when blogging was something new - something of novelty for me. About nine months have passed since I made the decision to start a blog, and I still think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. I like having my own little space - my own creative outlet.

The only thing that is difficult for me is to keep my writing consistent. I don't want to disappear for a month or two (more like three or four) though, and so I will aim to write at least once a week starting today. I have ideas brewing in my head, and I slightly redesigned my blog a bit. I'm definitely prepared.

Besides this blog, not much has been going on. But this summer I want to expand my horizons whether it means going some place I've never been to, picking up a new hobby, or learning something new - and summer would be the perfect time to do so. And so here is a list of what I plan to do this summer:

Summer 2015 Plans:

1. Read at least 10 books - I used to be quite the avid reader but ever since school became busy during my last two years of high school - I haven't been reading much at all.

2. Draw or paint everyday - whether it's finishing an entire art piece, or just making a few doodles on paper.

3. Learn how to swim - I know it's kind of embarrassing but at least I can still float...I think!

4. Learn how to do a proper handstand

5. Learn how to longboard

6. Go hiking!

7. Cook dinner at least twice a week - I really need to develop my culinary skills!

8. Learn a new language - I downloaded the Duolingo app and I'm planning to learn Spanish!

9.  Make some blogger friends

10. Volunteer

11. Spend more time with family and friends

12. Start photography as a hobby - I really want to take as many snapshots of my summer to remember it

13. Blog more of course!

14. Have fun - it is summer after all!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and hopefully this has inspired you! By the way what are some summer plans you have?

Sincerely,
 Soli
