Review: Physician's Formula Organic Wear Fake Out Mascara

I must say I'm not someone who wears much makeup at all, since I'm more into skincare than makeup. However, this mascara by Physician's Formula is the first mascara I've ever purchased for myself! Whenever I wore mascara in the past I actually would borrow whatever my mom had in her makeup collection. But now I have my very own mascara to wear!

The main reason I bought mascara in the first place was to have lovely and long lashes for prom! My mom ran out of mascara, so I decided might as well buy one. The main criteria for me in finding a mascara was that it had to be affordable and a reasonable price, as well as cruelty-free with a more natural formulation. I definitely try to use cosmetics that are more on the natural side, and cruelty free is definitely important to me.

This mascara promises your lashes to look as dramatic as if you were wearing false lashes. It also claims that your lashes will look "almost unbelievable" when it comes to the volume, length, and curl. I was definitely intrigued by these claims and the fact that it had no harsh chemicals, synthetic preservatives, and parabens. Many reviewers online said that this mascara was one of the only mascaras that did not irritate their eyes. And so I made the decision and purchased this mascara!

First of all, this mascara did not make my lashes look dramatic at all. After applying 2-3 layers of mascara, my lashes were definitely longer than usual. But it definitely did not give my eyelashes that falsies look, even after I curled my lashes. The main reason why is probably because I have very short, little lashes. In my case, my eyelashes with mascara on had a very natural everyday look. But I'm totally okay with that because it looked nice. The mascara doesn't clump, and it separates and defines your lashes. It does smudge a bit though.

Overall, I would buy this mascara again even though I did not have false-like lashes. I like that it's cruelty free as well as more naturally formulated. However, if your lashes are more on the longer side then you'll probably end up with very dramatic false-looking lashes!

Tell me in the comments section below what mascara you like to use! And thank you for reading!
Sincerely,
