3 Easy to Follow Skincare Tips

After writing about my skincare routine, I wanted to write a few skincare tips I have to offer. These tips are pretty generic, but still effective. Take into account that I am no skincare expert (my skin routine doesn't even contain a facial toner, so there you go)!

1) Drink lots of water
Yes, I know you may hear this a lot, but drinking lots of water keeps you and your skin hydrated. I drink about 2 - 2.5 liters of water each day, and I always feel great. Ever since I've started to drink more water, I've noticed that my skin has really become more hydrated. I no longer have dry skin, so I don't even have to use very heavy moisturizers.
2) Eat healthily
Here's another tip you may hear a lot, but what you eat can contribute to your skin's health. I make sure to eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I also don't eat lots of processed foods, or junk food either, and that has helped my skin too. I prefer to cook my own meals as well! Everyone has their own idea of what healthy eating is, however I think eating more whole foods, and less processed foods is a good way to go.
3) Exfoliate your skin
Exfoliating your skin is so important. It helps to keep your skin clean and soft, but it also buffs away the dry and flaky skin cells to make your skin glow. I make my own DIY exfoliator by mixing coconut oil and organic raw sugar together.

Those are my three tips for skincare! When it comes to skincare, my philosophy is to strive to be healthy overall, and eventually your skin will become healthy. By doing so, you can prevent breakouts, rather than treat them.

What are some skincare tips you have to offer?

Sincerely, Soli
