New In: Natural Skincare Haul

Hey everyone! Yesterday, my mom and I went to one of our favorite places EVER to shop.....Super Supplements!

You might be wondering what would I buy at a vitamin store. Vitamins? Minerals? Well, that's only sometimes. But I love going to Super Supplements to buy skincare and beauty products because pretty much everything there is natural and cruelty-free. For those of you who didn't know - I use mostly natural skincare and beauty products from my mascara to my shampoo.

The reason we took a little trip to our beloved vitamin store was for a few things: shampoo, a new skincare routine for me, and some soap. But I really needed some skincare products because I was out of my facial cleanser and toner, and had been using body lotion as a facial moisturizer for almost a month (but at least it's natural)! And so today I'll share with you the skincare products I got!

Products Purchased:
Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash: $6.99
Thayers Original Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera: $8.99
Earth Science Almond Aloe Moisturizer: $9.49

I tried all these skincare products for the first time last night, and I really like them! I've used Thayers Witch Hazel before but it was the Rose Petal one, but I must say I like the Aloe Vera one so much more!

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely,
Soli

Review: Physician's Formula Organic Wear Fake Out Mascara

I must say I'm not someone who wears much makeup at all, since I'm more into skincare than makeup. However, this mascara by Physician's Formula is the first mascara I've ever purchased for myself! Whenever I wore mascara in the past I actually would borrow whatever my mom had in her makeup collection. But now I have my very own mascara to wear!

Brown Sugar by Fresh

I previously mentioned this perfume in my last post where I reviewed Si by Giorgio Armani. And I thought, "Why not write about Brown Sugar by Fresh?"

When I first spritzed this perfume on my wrist, the scent automatically reminded me of lemonade, and those memories of baking in the kitchen as a child. It reminded me of baking a blueberry pie, where I would mix together the blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice among other ingredients, before placing it into the pie crust. I always would eat the sugary and sour blueberry mix because it was so delicious!

It's a good thing this perfume reminds me of happy memories. It has such a fresh and energizing scent that is sweet and citrusy, which is perfect for brightening up anyone's day. It has a very optimistic and cheery aroma to it. It's not a heavy scent, nor a very light scent, but I think most people would probably wear it during the spring and summer seasons. Thankfully, it doesn't smell like lemon-scented cleaning products, but rather a nice lemon meringue pie!

This perfume is created by Fresh, which is a brand that uses natural ingredients in its products. Fresh has had many popular products including their Sugar Lip Treatments, and Sugar Polishes.
Overall, this fragrance is lovely. According to Sephora.com, it has notes of Sicilian Lemon, Tangerine, Acai berries, Sugared Magnolia, Honeysuckle, Peach Nectar Caramel, Warm Amber, and Cypress. This combination creates a very nice fresh, natural, citrusy, and slightly sweet scent.

Products mentioned in this post:
Fresh Sugar Polish:

There are more polishes as well, check them out at Sephora or Fresh.com.

What are your thoughts on Brown Sugar by Fresh, or any of their other products?

Sincerely, Soli

Si by Giorgio Armani: My Signature Scent?

Not too sweet like La Vie est Belle by LancĂ´me, and more sophisticated than Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf: I don't normally like sweet perfumes, but this one caught me by surprise. The face of this perfume is Cate Blanchett - who I will always remember as the ethereal Lady Galadriel from The Lord of the Rings.

My Pretty Simple Skincare Routine

I love beauty and skincare, but I assure you that I am no expert. Over the years, I've used quite a few skincare products, especially from brands that most teenagers would use, such as Neutrogena, St. Ives, and Clearisil. Now, I've moved towards using more natural skin care products, in addition to eating more healthily. I also stopped drinking regular milk, and switched over to drinking almond milk about a year ago. I've noticed such a dramatic difference in my skin, although I do get the occasional blemishes.
